Courrier is an American band from Austin, Texas. The members met in school, they fell in this kind of bromance that will probably last for ever, they are kind of messengers - hence the name Courrier - or troubadours who sing about all the important things in life: love, hate, joy, death, war,...

Their workbook is quite complete: first album "A Violent Flame" out in 2011 and second full-lenght album " Cathedrals of Colour" out in 2013. Needless to say, they kept busy! I should probably add that they took on the entire Kickstarter campaign by themselves, in order to be able to pay for the record studio sessions! These guys really know what they're doing.

Why should you listen to them? Perhaps because their songs are deep both in texture and text, they are powerful and light at the same time. Like this feeling of silver lining, you know what I mean?

I actually can't remember how I came to know them, but I can tell you what made me fall in love with these guys: "Between" and "Paper Ghost". The first is well crafted from beginning to end, it is pure, it is ...perfect. The second is powerful and sad but hopefull at the same time. Such a mix of texture and sounds and emotions...

They confirmed their "valeur sûre" gene with the second album "Cathedrals of Colour" in which features songs like the well-known "Love is a Fire", the sweet and powerful "Walls" and the hopeful "Light in the tunnel".
